This is now my fourth year as a Freelance Education Adviser for Mathematics and the subject continues to play an important role in primary schools.

The new National Curriculum 2014 impacted on schools' training requirements last year and into this year too!

I am running lots of training to support teachers and leaders in consortia around the county (Basildon, Chelmsford, Harlow, Thurrock and Tiptree/ Stanway) and have developed many materials to support planning, delivery and assessment.

My over-riding message to mathematicians everywhere: "Go forth and multiply!"
